Platinum Sound Publishing provide cutting-edge music tracks to a variety of genres. They are responsible for sourcing music for many Films, TV broadcasts and Adverts as well as some awesome game titles for XBOX 360, PS2, PC, DS and Wii
Platinum Sound gave Box of Blue the task of coming up with a web-based music search application that allows customers to search their extensive music library, listen to streamed MP3 tracks online, store their favourite tracks inside their own online profile, and then enquire on pre-selected tracks and monitor its progress through licensing.
Quite a complex system you might say. Well yes but that didn't deter us, and a few months later we opened the shutters and with half closed eyes straining from the light we introduced SLAM!
SLAM! (Search Music and Lyrics!) comprises an HTML and Flash graphical user interface with an underlying .NET application that handles account registrations, track enquiries and, of course, sophisticated music search functions. Track enquiries are all now handled online with Platinum Sound able to place recommended tracks straight into a customers profile to help them get the exact tracks for their requirements.
